Fedi seems to have completely stalled in the last year or so. Not noticing a lot of posts. Tried to get a few subs off the ground myself but zero engagement => it’s dead. Guess Reddit wins after all.

Fedi is only satisfying to a small subset of us forum/reddit type lovers. It is what it is,but we are sticking with it for better or worse.
The rest can have their shit stained corpos and live in lukewarm denial forever. I don’t really give AF.

True - after over a year of regular posting with literally 0 engagement. I don’t need this to get eyes on some kind of profitable project I have going on. I just wanted to share my interests with like-minded people. But turns out, there are very, very few of those around.
Look, I’m not saying this to shit on Lemmy. I’m grateful it exists. But to pretend it’s anything but a footnote in the grand scheme of the internet is delusional.
