Just jumping in here to clarify a thing the other poster asked. “Do you have onboard graphics?” So if you look at the back of your computer, you have the graphics card your monitor is plugged into and potentially other slots along this same card.

What they’re asking is, is there another place, not attached to this same card, where you can plug your monitor into? This would probably be near USB and or audio connections. If you do have that, you may be able to plug your monitor into that instead and the computer can use that INSTEAD of the NVIDIA you’re having issues with. In theory, this would allow you to change resolution settings so you can follow some of the fixes listed here by others.

That’s about as far as my knowledge goes on this though, just the physical components lol. Listen to that guy for the software part.

I don’t have the time or energy but if someone wanted to create a database with all the known ways to disconnect cars from relaying data for everything known searchable by make/model/year they’d be pretty fucking awesome.

I was able to opt out with Toyota for them selling my driving data and for them sending my data to the dealership. I was not able to opt out of the ATT LTE connection because ATT sent me in circles on their automated system and then kept hanging up on me.

I had all the above but I had 2k the longest. I miss it.

I got a new (to me) pixel a bit ago and haven’t switched back cause life has been crazy. I miss GOS. Maybe this weekend I’ll have a minute to do that.

If you already have one go for it. My 6 with GOS runs significantly better than my 8 with stock android. I wouldn’t buy one specifically for it though, I’d go newer since it will be supported longer.

You can sandbox Google Play services and 99% of things will work that way
