As an American, PLEASE do it. Please. Organize it, and make a BIG deal about it when you do it. It won’t hurt us citizens nearly as much as it will hurt Wall Street.
As a Native American I have been fully supportive of this since 1492.
They should create a Web page, that way everyone would have access to the information. I would donate to maintain it.
Currently the App only shows 3 reviews in the store by the way. At least from where I am looking it up. I suppose it doesn‘t take much to dominate Danish download charts. I‘m sure web alternatives exist that can at least help you even if they don‘t support every feature the app supposedly does.

I’ll have you know that tens of Danes have smartphones! Even Børge has one, and he still wears clogs to church.
Jokes aside, while it wouldn’t seem impressive numerically, charts are relative. Eg if a population is only 100, having your app downloaded 50 times still means 50% reach.
So it may be insignificant from the app developers POV, but it speaks volumes about the general state of the Danish people’s mind.
We’re talking about a country that were front and center, ruining a lot of men in my generation, when GWB sounded the article 5 bugle after 9/11, went looking for WMD in Iraq, where “made in the USA” was seen as a quality stamp, and where we throughout my childhood have had live TV transmissions from a Danish 4th of July party. It’s in this country, that one of the most downloaded apps is the “fuck America and their stupid brands” app.
FFS we were still buying F35s and negotiating Patriot missile systems after Trump was re-elected and started looking at Greenland like it was a 12 year old girl.
The NonUSA app is currently only available on Apple’s app store, which requires American software and hardware to use.
Wouldn‘t the same go for the only other mobile OS, Android? The software I mean. I am not sure where they‘re going with this.
Ubuntu Touch is a thing btw, if one is serious about supporting an European ecosystem.
”Free users can make 2 scans per day” (from the description in the app store)
Nah, I’m not going to pay €4/month for this. But I’ll keep using PushToLeave to learn more about the companies behind the products I buy (and the ones I leave on the shelf.)
There’s quite a lot of similar apps without monthly fees. Not all work perfect for all areas and product categories, neither do they flag both US brands and US production (usually just one of them), let alone combining it with Pushtoleave. But still, maybe some might be useful:
