This is designed specifically to almost sound reasonable on the surface, but is really intended to strongly discourage lawyers from suing them.

They are trying to legally eliminate the incentive structure (compensation) for the class of people (lawyers) necessary to hold them financially accountable.

And why do you think Uber is funding it?

Do you think this is the first person that this particular detective has tried to railroad because they were too lazy to do any real work?

I would be shocked if every single one of his previous cases weren’t full of half-truths, lies, and just generally sloppy work.

None of us here knows the truth, and I would posit that it’s just as likely, if not more likely, that that school was targeted intentionally, as it was used for the children of IRGC officers.
