What is there to like. Brings very little in local jobs. Creates environmental harm and consums tons of electricity and water the bill for which is largely paid for via local residents.

The water consumption issues is probably one if the bigger issues but less talked about.

I am curious about the tax base issue? That might be the one positive if the local community does not give that away too.

Incidently crypto has similar issues.

Only a shockingly small fraction of students are there to learn. It is sadly more about certification and the social experience. Nothing new in this.

Ironically kind of perfect for mangement.

I think the current administration is the biggest weakeness. Impulsive unwise people. Logistics requires skills and planning which is kind of the opposite.

The internet does not have reactions. People do. Besides, if they like it why does someone else’s opinion matter?
