To be fair the instance drama was unusually exciting in the fallout of the ban list.
But anyway. I got my ideal experience by joining .today, which doesn’t block any instances, and only browsing my subscribed. It only took about an hour to get a solid list built up, one that I add to when I see things recommended or in the community promo groups. The front page of my feed is usually memes, comics, art and tech news.

Getting someone pregnant is exclusive to people born male. Most clothing and shoe stores are divided into men’s and women’s sections. And there are men’s health and hygiene products in every grocery store and pharmacy I’ve been to.
I used tesh very rarely, only to ban users across all my communities and only in extreme cases, until recently when it just stopped working for me. Now I know why.
The communities aren’t far left or right, one is just general news that’s about 50% science articles and the other is for independent Canadian news. This kind of censorship is as infuriating as it is bizarre.
