politics @lemmy.world•Why aren’t Democrats talking about climate?
1·14 hours agoyes we need the public educated together like some kind of standard put on display for the general populations to agree and use as a metric that helps one be productive in society and make informed choices based on past knowledge handed down by past generations. But I’m saying we need organized government to push forward long term goals while you and I fuck and, make a home and prepare for death all while the gears keep turning so we can keep living. But human nature only allows for small world understanding VIA our biology only allows us to feel for 100-150 . Empathy stops and mass casualty events just feel like numbers. We can organize crowds or mobs all we want but its just a short term splurge.

5·15 hours agothere is a price paid by everyone when these parasites don’t pay, this extra tax proposal is just the icing on a very big cake. Fuck them and don’t let the door hit you on the way out. there are also other reason the fucks want to be in Cali and that is because its a great place to live for many many reasons Texas can’t compete with some basics required by some people. eh?

8·15 hours agoNice little excuse, truth is these people have generational wealth beyond understanding. My little ape hand clearly has no grapes while my neighbor is burning extra grapes just to make space for oxygen.

53·2 days agoBecause at this point climate change can easily be twisted into more BS culture war propaganda used by far right fascist. Like all we want is affordable gas so we can drive 40 mins one way to a dead end job but the damn tree huggers be blocking my commune in the middle of a heat wave during rush hour. See?

3·2 days agoHow about we fight the class war and get their money out of politics while growing children that do not worship the idea of insane generational wealth. We don’t elect kings and fuck the epstein class.

2·2 days agoI agree and another way of saying this is that we are not evolved enough to organize on such a large scale, we really are just great apes with a limited 100-150 members of our in group. Once we are made to care and understand more we simply fail to rise up to the occasion. Another way of putting it, we cannot act as individuals to make world wide change, we need organized government with a long term goal, almost like religion without the death cult stuff. So if organized humanity keeps on keeping on, it will be very messy, almost as if our leaders and collective actions mirror that of a screaming child without parents, goals, and having a messy bottom.

bro, people want to experience life and that means not worrying about climate change, that means cheap gas and food, cheap electric for air conditioning. We as apes cannot face the future outside of make believe afterlife stories. We live in a 2 and 4 year cycle and those who we elect mostly live in the financial cycle of our markets. Right now we need to focus on fixing our government before it can address climate .
