She was a phenomenal Representative. It is a shame she refuses to help him campaign.
It is a fantasy to think a person of color or a woman (let alone both of these things combined) would win in Texas. Talarico is the correct choice. Look at how close the polls are, it’s embarrassing. This should be a no brainer, no contest blow out for Talarico and it’s not.
America hates women even in liberal blue states.
0·2 months agoThe war on our attention is so strong that you believe people don’t have time. “People” aka society do have time. They’ll scroll endlessly, giving their attention away mindlessly instead of treating attention like it’s something valuable. Attention and where people choose to spend it is one of the rare things in society we have absolute control over that terrifies the ruling class.
In our society, people would rather continue scrolling for the 45 seconds it takes to read this post. And for what? Was it worth the cost?

Eh… Fetterman was the better choice. Too bad there’s no mechanism to recall our shit politicians.
Either way he’s toast. Dems won’t vote for him and he’s got way too many liberal sound bites from his past that the GOP won’t vote for him either.
I do feel for his wife, who has been silent ever since the stroke.
