While you are not wrong, there is also lots of people that think and claim out loud “if you are still working for this government, then you are complicit, you cannot claim ignorance”, and they are not wrong either… And is not like you can say out loud “I am staying to make sure I hinder this administration as much as I can”, as soon as you say that, you are out.

Also, there is a limit of how much you can put in your conscience, imagine having to sign orders that you believe will needlessly kill people, clearly at some point they have to go through things that they cannot justify anymore…
