Not sure I’d call NC uneducated. Nationally it’s pretty average (22nd) but 2 of the top 10 most educated metro areas in the country are Raleigh/Cary and Durham/Chapel Hill. Most of the folks that go to the major universities just don’t leave, so the population is very educated in these regions.

But there are lots of rural areas that have lots of Trump signs for sure.
