Yeah, I think it’s possible (and sometimes valuable) to have both disdain for someone’s actions and decisions and compassion for things they didn’t and couldn’t decide. I hope he is removed from all positions of influence, but I wouldn’t wish dementia on him any more than I would on anyone else.
