Car centric infrastructure leaves no choice. Some basic oil demand is forced upon everyone. (if this gets bad enough, maybe biking over empty highways would be cool, but i doubt it will get that bad)
Recent droughts in California proved that won’t work. We were told to cut back on water, so we did. Rates were increased to make up for lost revenue due to lower demand.

it’s going to be fascinating if the epstein class reverses its position on this because it means that the cabal(s) the benefit from commercial real estate – the ones that had enough leverage to kill wfh – are no longer dominant and/or have divested.
