My hometown has a population about a third less than the amount of russian casualties. A whole goddamn city of cheap graves and bodies left to rot in ditches.
As casualties includes dead and wounded. IIrc the share is 1 vs. 2. That means 500k, half of the city, is dead and an entire city is wounded. Horrific.
russian med-evac does not exist; their wounded are often left to bleed out in some ditch which leads to ~2/3 of that figure being KIA.
That was the case. In the past 6 months or so it’s been 2-1. It’s been 1-2 for pretty much every war before this.
