Why is it reasonable to go from “person participated in illegal protest” (which is NOT some extreme protest for an illegal topic), to “we’re going to raid their residence”?
How is that relevant to the act of attending a protest? Fine or jail the person as prescribed by the (inane) law and move on, searching their home is overreach.
It’s not reasonable if that’s all you know about them. But there are lots of situations I can think of where it would be reasonable (no less reasonable than the initial arrest, anyway)
