    I mean, the amount of cheering and celebrating at Charlie Kirks death pretty much shows that both sides are only leaving the other alive because jail is a powerful de-motivator.

    But it’s only good enough to keep a person civil if they think they have something to lose. Make society bad enough and people start seeing violence not as a last resort but as a first option.

      Kirk’s death was celebrated because he said that “a few deaths from gun violence were fine to justify gun liberty”. Kids dying at school were ok but his death wasn’t? Kinda double standard, don’t you think?

      His beliefs killed him, we should be happy he died thanks to what he believed most.

      Also, he thought empathy was a weakness, why should we show empathy for him? To show we are weak? Nah, he died, we laugh because that’s what he would have wanted.
