Shouts of “he should be shot” could be heard multiple times Thursday night at the Republican midterm convention as Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was criticizing prominent Democratic politicians by name.

Nope, you’re conflating party level advocacy with randos on the internet, and it’s a bullshit comparison. And this advocacy has come from the party leadership for decades.
One party is OPENLY KIRKING PEOPLE IN THE STREET and there’s no pushback at the party level on one side, but plenty on the other.
