Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said in an interview with NBC News that he will encourage progressive voters to still back Democrats on the ticket in November even if moderates are victorious in the primaries.
I mean my guy never wins cause my guy is a third party candidate. If the Dems won’t win anyway, I might as well help the ones I actually like instead of the ones others are forced to tolerate.
It’s impossible for a third party candidate to win. Vote 3rd party in the primary if you like, but get on the anti-fascism bus in November. There’s a lot to hate about the Dems, but they’re the only game in town in November. Abstaining from voting for a candidate that can win is only exercising privilege that says it doesn’t matter to you if the fascists do win.
