True, but there are 2 things at play that kinda make sense why it was such a small margin

Stevens campaign was DUMPING money into ads that was doing all kinds of shady shit from leaning into Islamophobia to pretending Obama endorsed her (She even had a cardboard cutout of Obama at a rally). From what I’ve heard, there was a Stevens AD on TV every couple ads in Michigan lol

And, supposedly a bunch of Republicunts were voting for Stevens in the primary because MI has an open primary and they didn’t have to vote for their candidate because he was running unopposed
