It seems that’s tossed around to make it sound like she absconded to the rural, barren wasteland to find hick voters because she’s being outcast from the Republican party - while part of her district is the plains there’s virtually no one there. It’s Douglas county where all her constituents actually are and that’s the wealthy southern suburbs of Denver. I’m fact, she has one of if not the wealthiest districts in the state. DougCo has seen some demographic shake ups recently, however, so we’ll see how long that contingent of folks keeps voting red as they recently ousted their conservative school board.
