I think China had much more to gain by completely crashing the US economy and becoming the world Electronics design hub as well as manufacturing. They don’t need more land and definitely wouldn’t want to deal with US citizens as far as administration goes.
Well I clearly hope I’m wrong but the incompetence being shown right now is really diminishing the strength we’ve been projecting
