With AI, you can replace hundreds of them and only use a few who will dedicate their time to cleaning and polishing the meshes AI outputs. Not having to do that from scratch removed the need for so many artists. Problem is, those artists who get fired are not getting a job as easy anymore, or a salary that reflects their true worth.
