Well, if I owned a multi billion dollar business, and bought out or squeezed out all the other viable businesses around, and didn’t pay my employees enough to live so they need to be on welfare, and took huge tax benefits and cuts from cities counties and states, and someone was shoplifting… I’d likely still be making a lot of fucking money.
I’m fundamentally opposed to capitalism, so I don’t care about the interests of the owning class as they are fundamentally opposite to my interests as a working class individual and I’m not in the business of compromising with my oppressors.

If I owned Walmart and all it holds with the power to do with it what I will, I’d turn the entire thing into a giant mutual aid network that would give this shit away for free. I’d be getting in touch with so many mutual aid organizations and starting new ones with the assets Walmart has.

Yes, I’ve heard of it and discounted it as a potential solution to the excesses of capitalism for a few reason. But the primary one is how do we deal with an adversarial country who wants to invade us? There would be no standing army, just multiple local militias. If China or Russia wanted to invade the US we would have no chance to defeat them.
