    The problem with reddit very specifically is that it was, in many ways, internet counterculture. It grabbed a very specific demographic which is much less likely to be active on Facebook - young men stepping out from their edgy teenager “it’s not a stage mom” stage, and into the throes of early adulthood. So now you have this very strange thing where “youth counterculture” is sometimes (often enough to be a problem) this unholy marriage between fascist nihilism and Christian nationalism.
