    I don’t understand how it’s possible for counties to change their elections process for the Nov midterm. All the preparation for this election is already complete, and there’s not enough time to change it.

    IIRC the states of Washington and Oregon only offer vote-by-mail ballots. This would disproportionately effect rural voters (who are disproportionately Republican voters). The counties in those states would struggle with the short amount of time and money to create polling places, communicate their locations to the voters, explain to voters a new process.

    Even Trump sycophants would have to agree that it’s too late to change the 2026 vote-by-mail process.
