Inside sources in the GOP are seriously peeved that President Donald Trump and his family can’t stop concentrating on enriching themselves long enough to get Republicans through the November midterms.
Trump and Republicans are at risk in the upcoming midterm elections, due in no small part to regret from his own supporters, and even many Republicans who continue supporting him feel as if they are “walking the plank” on his behalf. Yet according to a recent report, Trump continues to focus on money-making projects instead of shoring up support from American voters — a fact that is worrying many of his fellow Republican politicians.
The idea is that Trump’s corruption is SO obvious that the GOP is afraid they’ll get whipped in the midterms. Trump is certainly attacking the election system hard enough to show he agrees on that part at least, if not the idea of being less greedy.
That’s plausible.
They only look out for themselves.
