I own a MacMini M4 and in contrast to your assertion there have been plenty of times I have fully shut down my Mac, or needed to access the bottom button (not just for powering up, but also for needing to access administrative level for certain app or hardware driver installs). I am glad it’s not something you have ever needed, but regardless, it remains an inherently poor design choice.

Shrug. Mine is never off. I have used the power button less than 10 times.
Non issue for people to whine about and I won’t be convinced otherwise.
How selfish.
