    It just isn’t the politician themselves. El-Sayed is a winner because of his platform, and he isn’t bought off by AIPAC and the corporate establishment.

    Indeed, those additional attributes were critical in the primary, in general elections, however, most people only have a shallow understanding of policy platforms if any. In general elections most people vote based on party affiliation, name recognition and vibes.
