      They have been all about spectacle for ages. Their obsession with media appearances, public debates and having a compelling reason as to why they are in politics has tainted the bourgeois electoral system since the dawn of mass media and television in particular. Now we’re subject to focus tested candidates who have to be charismatic and media tested, regardless of how good they might be at being a political representative or what they actually stand for.

    If he wins it at the same time as something really bad is happening for Labour (high probability), it will be a good look for The Greens.
