There’s also the problem that she was a she. I wonder what happens if the Seven Mountain Mandate type of loons get confronted with a female Republican as a presidential candidate, by the way. There’s that whole biblical thing that women should not rule over men…

Friendly reminder that JD Vance invested, and likely still has stake, in AcreTrader that facilitates buying farmland. https://www.farmlandgrab.org/post/32430-jd-vance-funded-acretrader-here-s-why-that-matters

Oh no, if only someone could have foreseen this completely obvious and predictable outcome.

Living in farm country, I’m constantly baffled at how many support someone who has shown how little he cares for your industry for a decade. Kinda hard to feel sorry for the farmer who’s looking at losing his farm with a trump sign out on his barbed wire fence.

Sucks to suck, how about that local sportsball team? They really walked it in last night, huh?

I grew up in an extremely rural area in the 80s and I saw it then, too. The wildest thing was to hear all these people ripping on welfare, constantly.

Meanwhile, I think government programs of one type or another propped up most of the area. But people that were collecting it didn’t seem to realize or want to admit that they were benefactors of welfare.

Nope, it’s only “welfare” if it was going to “those people” in the cities, you see.

Before Iran related inflation, there was always anti China policies, such that farmers have been losing money every year since 2016. Losses should be much higher than article states because grain futures are still on low end, with the assumption that China will buy some of the crop still.
