In so much as it’s dangerous, it’s really a question of whether your community is dangerous. A dangerous community is a problem whether you’re walking, subway-ing, or even isolated away in little cars; removing access to (for instance) the subway in new York will not make people safer or reduce the 0ublic disturbances that occur there
