It is not. Conservatives have actively opposed the teaching of Critical Thinking Skills in the schools for decades.They think it leads to questioning authority, which it does. The problem is they think that’s a bad thing, when we think it’s a good thing.

18 months ago, nobody knew what the Democratic Socialists were. Mamdani’s election, and his subsequent success, has energized them. A month ago, 30% of Democrats aligned with the DSA. Two weeks ago, a new poll put the number above 50%.
In the Midterms, we are going to see many DemSocs win, and Socialists will start taking over the Democratic Party, the way the Tea Party/ MAGA took over the Republicans.
THIS is what revolution looks like in America. It occurs slowly, over the course of several election cycles, but it is inexorable, and it will happen. We just have to ignore those who want to see us destroy the nation they despise, for their own sick entertainment.
