That’s my preference. Just set CC to speed limit, and let the regenerative braking handle any downhill sections.
But, in traffic that can be unsafe. Still I try to keep myself to the speed limit and check my speedometer frequently so I don’t speed even if it “feels safe”.
I do find that I’m one of the faster drivers in the rain tho. Maybe I’m trusting my car too much, but it seems like the rain affects other drivers’ feelings of safety / speed more than mine.
In an ideal world, I agree 100%. Most of the time I can set my cruise to the speed limit and let the reckless people pass.
