      While US beef production is geared towards steaks and ground chuck, most other countries focus on growing lean beef.

      The almost certainly low quality meat being imported (countries aren’t going to export their good stuff to Donnie), likely isn’t even going to end up in your local grocery stores as steaks or ground beef. It will be used in other areas of industry with massive orders. Think filler for frozen dinner meatballs, etc. where the raw quality isn’t a priority. Where the lower quality stuff already goes.

        Which also means that this won’t actually affect customer prices in the slightest. Those companies will just pocket the 25% discount on their input costs.
