It can’t possibly be a surprise to anybody.
The two signs that Trump never intended to win any other election fair and square are:
- All he does makes him unpopular. He clearly has zero concern for appearing likable and attracting votes.
- He said so - and when Trump or his cronies say something, believe them.
Prepare for him and his cohort of traitors to ignore them entirely if they don’t go their way. They have the broad support of the people with guns, both in and out of uniform. They’ve tried it once before, and you can bet they’ve learned from their mistakes.
It is really quite difficult to vote fascism out. I cannot believe Americans thought they could put their necktie in that woodchipper twice and survive.
