The federal judge, who cited Dolly Parton in his ruling, found that the state law violated the First Amendment.
I have been to one once. I have photo and video evidence if you’d like me to share. It was in an 18+ bar and there was no nudity. Drag shows are entirely about crossdressing, not stripping.
Show any example where there was a drag show at a child friendly event, and if you happen to pull that off, show any example where they showed there genitals. You can’t, because that doesn’t happen.
You have know idea what the fuck you’re talking about, or you do and you’re arguing in bad faith and just being a bigot.
No one is trying to ban that.
Fair enough. But they’re trying to block explicitly sexual performances, which drag shows aren’t. They’re not putting these on in public parks, but even if they did, it should still be allowed for dudes to put on dresses and dance.
Anyone that shows there genitals in public spaces, especially to children, should be reprimanded. That’s not what’s happening here. This is a law veiled in “protect the children” but it’s just targeted bigotry.
I’ve seen them on more than 1 occasion. Sorry but I didn’t save them because thats not the sort of filth I want on any of my devices.
