IIRC abortion is mentioned in the bible twice: once is basically accidental, dude injures a pregnant woman in a way that causes her to miscarry… and the biblical punishment for such a heinous crime? He owed her a fine. The second mention is a fucking how-to guide; dude thinks his wife is pregnant because she cheated on him, so he’s instructed to make poison by collecting shit off the temple floor and forcing his wife to drink it. If she miscarries, then she cheated! Burn the witch! If she doesn’t miscarry, then the kid is his.
