Oh for FUCKS SAKE. Even after defeating a objectively bad progressive, this moderate dumbass cannot help but keep on snatching defeat from the jaws of victory by ignoring the people who will vote him in.

Nah, this is in context. The context being that this is still the better of the two options.

That isn’t the point. The point is that this is an obviously and obnoxiously stupid position to take in the current environment.

They very clearly are not though. The “both sides are the same” rhetoric is pushed by Republicans for a reason, and that reason is that the obviously shittier of the two sides would really like people to think their shittiness is average.

Democrats refuse to acknowledge their side is complicit because they don’t want to face the fact their team is on the same side as Republicans.

The guy that said both shades of fascism are the same is a Republican?

Do liberals ever listen to themselves? They hear a critique of BlueMAGA and they instinctively assume it’s coming from MAGA

Well, if you’re okay assuming that I’m a liberal because I understand the concept of not letting perfection be the enemy of the good, why is it not okay to consider you a Republican when you’re basically arguing that we should let them win?

It’s never been about perfection, it’s about having standards and calling out bad when bad is happening and refusing to support those ignoring the bad stuff.
