Washington is similar in that you can vote in person but it’s still considered an all-mail voting state. Our voting centers wouldn’t be large enough to handle everyone voting in person. (Though hopefully we work to switch that up come midterms.)

I can’t speak to California, but I’d wager it still varies state to state a bit.

Washington is an all-mail voting state. Individuals who prefer to vote in person rather than by mail may do so at local voting centers, which are open for 18 days before the election.
