    I have been (for longer than a couple of months) in Tampa, New Orleans, LA, they are different but all speak American English Tampa & New Orleans feel older, and out West does feel different.

    You wouldn’t say this if you’d been to Miami. That said, you wouldn’t have anything nice to say about Miami either. Lived there. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s a shit hole.

      Miami is where I learned that I knew more Spanish than I thought, lol. But I’m in West Tampa - there’s Spanish here and in LA, and Haitian Creole and of course in New Orleans my grandpa spoke French.

      I think accents are less distinct now than they were, too. Miami is probably nice if you are loaded. LA is like that too.
