They stopped doing it after one of the people they caught committed suicide.
Perverted Justice and other spinoff vigilante groups are a thing the police still respond to. And the police themselves also do this. They just did this in San Francisco recently. But maybe To Catch a Predator with what’s his face Hanson was stopped.
