Besides Liquid Glass (which is not only non-compliant with basic Accessibility requirements, but is also hideous), a lot of apps (like Photos) have had perfectly functional features hidden or completely removed in lieu of dysfunctional (and in most cases non-functional) Apple “Intelligence”.
I may be wrong; if I am, please tell me how to access Geotagged photos using a Map.
if I’m understanding what you’re saying it looks like in photos under collections under utilities. There is a map function. it shows little thumbnails with pointers to all the different locations of the photos in your collection.
regarding the liquid glass, I guess I haven’t noticed much of a difference because I just use a plain black background
I guess I have noticed the keyboard might have gotten worse.
I think it will just be a very slow change over many years. It wasn’t only the head designer that wanted Liquid Glass, senior leadership approved of it so a big bang UI change would be admitting they were wrong.
Hopefully it is delayed because they are extracting every terrible UI change they introduced in iOS 26.0
I haven’t noticed a difference between 18 and 26. what’s so bad?

I doubt that will happen for a year or two at least. The designer might have left, but it’ll take a long time to undo the damage.
