In the body? It’s a UK comm on a UK instance aimed at users in the UK. Most users are browsing from the UK, likely without a VPN. Why not do the decent thing and make the “alternative video” link the main one?
Secondly, Imgur blocks VPNs. You basically can only access it with a residential IP.
Of course non-UK users are welcome here, but at least show some consideration to the fact we cannot access the main links that you are posting. Also for the instance and comm moderators, for all they know you could be posting links to illegal content. We have no way of telling.
It’s quite important if someone is posting something intended for UK viewers using a platform that UK viewers cannot access, even with a VPN (imgur blocks vpn access)
Imagine using Imgur to upload to a UK sub
I make sure to include an alternative video in the post body these days for all the blokes without a VPN

Imger of blocks VPNs so that doesn’t work either.
Really you shouldn’t even be using the platform because it’s become rotten
Uhhh, “nuh uh?” Could be your VPN, unless they recently started blocking them all. Could just be whatever server you were on at the time.
And I mean yeah it is a shitty platform lol, that’s for sure.
Edit: So I can’t actually load imgur itself with my VPN, but I can see content hosted there and posted elsewhere (namely here.) Odd…
Surely that’s not the important part of this post, is it?
It’s important, yes. Imgur is not accessible in the UK anymore.
Lmfao
Well then, ironically the intended message is still preserved.

Thanks for asking, I wasn’t aware of that as well
