A matter of priorities.
Thought crime > violent crime
Years ago I remember the police were trying to recruit and I turned them down on the basis of the pay with terrible. I guess that’s not my only complaint now.
Fancy giving that as an excuse, “just following orders”, what utter crittens.
Oh please. Arresting pensioners for clapping is super easy compared with arresting violent criminals. It’s a great way to get your arrest stats up without breaking a sweat. And then you can blame the arrestees for forcing you to arrest them. It’s a win-win!
That means 200 officers taken off the capital’s streets, where they could have been tackling the crimes that matter most to Londoners.
Don’t waste law enforcement resources dismantling civil rights then.
Waste? That’s what cops are for!
So you have decided not to enforce the law for those who commit violent crimes because your officers were too busy arresting people for clapping?
It’s a bold move to blame the people you arrest for being arrested, well simultaneously saying that arresting these individuals is a waste of resources. Ok then, so prioritise, is it more important to go after the violent criminals or the non-violent criminals?
You don’t even have to have a conversation about whether or not they are in fact terrorists, you can completely absolve yourself of any responsibility and still be able to come up with a reason not to waste resources arresting people.
There is any number of ways these officers could have got out of doing this, they wanted to.
They decided to do the work they determined least likely to highlight the contradictions at the heart of the system.
And most likely to protect the interests of capital, instead of the safety and security of the people.
Don’t you know threatening goverment profits and imperialist interests is terrorism?
Our government is a servant of a foreign power that is committing a genocide and doesn’t want to be inconvenienced while doing so.
They’re not doing it because Israel told them to, they’re doing it because the nature of a state is to look for excuses to crush dissent.
Right wing thugs are invading our streets to march around doing Hitler salutes, but the police choose to arrest clapping pensioners instead.
They don’t seem to mind racist riots every summer nearly so much
That means 200 officers taken off the capital’s streets, where they could have been tackling the crimes that matter most to Londoners.
How self aware can you be
In Northern Ireland, apparently expressing support for proscribed groups doesn’t usually get you arrested because it’s not worth the hassle.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.
Politicians should sort this out. Apart from anything else it’s making the police look really stupid.
This is on government orders.
You think Andy Burnham is going to push back against the people who picked him for the job?
I think the police make themselves look plenty stupid without the gov help.
That means 200 officers taken off the capital’s streets, where they could have been tackling the crimes that matter most to Londoners
That’s a fantastic point, it’s actually based and red-pilled, so why the heck where you wasting your time arresting people for clapping? You recognize you literally have better things to do, so go do it!
Police don’t exist to protect people.
Dear UK: please stop trying to mimic all the various contortions of America as it dies. It’s gauche.
Its ironic that the US is busy flushing the Zionist turd out of its system just as it has set up camp in the UK.
That’s absolutely not happening in America, you need better sources. We’re still strongly pro Zionist over here.
My sources are surveys showing lowered support for the Zionist colony as well as growing recognition of the genocide

I appreciate support is still rock solid amongst evangelicals, neocons, members of the Epstein oligarchy and inside the Beltway.
I disagree. The rebellion dissolved the political bonds between the UK and USA primarily because the UK government can do shit like this. The first amendment prevents any organization from being “proscribed” in the USA. I would say the UK is doing worse than the USA.
“How can I make bog standard British authoritarianism America’s fault? Think, anarchist com user, think! The Rotted Empire’s sins can’t possibly be their own!”
This is like posting a half smoked joint and a crumpled up $5 from a “drug bust”
please clapCuff em boys
