    A matter of priorities.

    Thought crime > violent crime

Years ago I remember the police were trying to recruit and I turned them down on the basis of the pay with terrible. I guess that’s not my only complaint now.

Fancy giving that as an excuse, “just following orders”, what utter crittens.

Oh please. Arresting pensioners for clapping is super easy compared with arresting violent criminals. It’s a great way to get your arrest stats up without breaking a sweat. And then you can blame the arrestees for forcing you to arrest them. It’s a win-win!

That means 200 officers taken off the capital’s streets, where they could have been tackling the crimes that matter most to Londoners.

Don’t waste law enforcement resources dismantling civil rights then.

So you have decided not to enforce the law for those who commit violent crimes because your officers were too busy arresting people for clapping?

It’s a bold move to blame the people you arrest for being arrested, well simultaneously saying that arresting these individuals is a waste of resources. Ok then, so prioritise, is it more important to go after the violent criminals or the non-violent criminals?

You don’t even have to have a conversation about whether or not they are in fact terrorists, you can completely absolve yourself of any responsibility and still be able to come up with a reason not to waste resources arresting people.

There is any number of ways these officers could have got out of doing this, they wanted to.

How self aware can you be

In Northern Ireland, apparently expressing support for proscribed groups doesn’t usually get you arrested because it’s not worth the hassle.

That’s a fantastic point, it’s actually based and red-pilled, so why the heck where you wasting your time arresting people for clapping? You recognize you literally have better things to do, so go do it!

I disagree. The rebellion dissolved the political bonds between the UK and USA primarily because the UK government can do shit like this. The first amendment prevents any organization from being “proscribed” in the USA. I would say the UK is doing worse than the USA.
