It’s insane to me that there have been so many cases of black people found hanging recently and they’ve pretty much all been brushed off.

There’s something wrong with the world when a children’s entertainer needs to ask the country to bother caring about it.

    Wow, I never actually listened to this song’s lyrics, so I never made this connection until now. It was always playing in the background on a Nina Simone Pandora station while I was at work (bartending at a restaurant) when I heard it before.
