It’s insane to me that there have been so many cases of black people found hanging recently and they’ve pretty much all been brushed off.
There’s something wrong with the world when a children’s entertainer needs to ask the country to bother caring about it.
I don’t know who this is, and I would never use Instagram. But I would read a summary if someone would write one.
She works as the host(?) of a kids show. Basically modern Mr. Rogers, as far as I can tell, in terms of being a good person and just wanting to be a good role-model for children.
The post isn’t long. It’s “black people don’t hang themselves from trees” in regards to the fact that over a half-dozen people have been found fucking lynched and no one has done fuck-all about it.
She’s a children’s entertainer that’s often compared to Mr Rogers (IDK how true it is, I don’t have kids) who like a year or two ago began speaking on politics calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza, particularly focusing on the children of Palestine.
That’s awesome. Too bad it’s on a platform that supports things she is against.
But a summary of what was said?
She’s not an influencer. Not everyone is.
