So 1.5 million for a home there is, unfortunately, pretty standard, and both him and his brother live in the house. So that 1.5 million is divided by two which makes it even less impressive.
Also, socialists aren’t against private property, they are for public control of the means of production, and if merely social democrats, not even that. What they are definitely against is billionaires hoarding money like Smaug atop his pile of gold, and the government not providing basic social protection like a free healthcare system.
