Just this afternoon I saw a guy park across a dropped kerb, jump out of his car and walk off. So my partner had to roll their chair further down the road in order to cross.
Scratch the shit out of the car. Take a photo and license plate. Go to cops, say it was parkd across the footpath and you damaged it wirh your chair and feel bad about it.
Cops will fine it and since the damage is on record due to driver illegality insurance won’t cover repairs.
it just needs to be made illegal country wide amd enforced with fines. The council by council rule changes on curb parking is confusing. As for those who will complain that there isn’t enough room for parking on both sides of the road, tough shit
This happens all over the UK too. In the area I live, it’s not uncommon for people to park their entire car on the footpath.

I’m also in the UK.
