      You gotta do both at the same time or you won’t get rid of either of them. If they act as a unified bloc we should treat them as such.

        In one fell swoop? We don’t have that choice, and even if we did, the numbers aren’t there. If it is a decision between a Republican and a centrist Democrat, I’ll take the centrist no contest. You have to vote for social democrats in the primaries first. In general elections, I just vote against Republicans.

          The strategy you describe is concurrent, or as concurrent as it can be. If you’re a stickler for details it’s actually the reverse of the order of operations you laid out, since the primary comes before the general.

      We are the moderates. Current Dem leadership are regressive.
