I mean for me its been a slow steady gradual thing. I have always been left of center and generally voted democrat but republicans were not off the table and not always the worse choice depending on their opponent. Over time though it got worse and worse. They became off the table for president, then congress then govenor, then state congress. At this point I would not vote for a republican for dog catcher.
