      Since he hasn’t already called for electing a new person this close to the cutoff, I can only assume he’s a typical government bitch who is all part of the democracy sham and he’s in on keeping the seat open.

      My guess is that he intends to call for a special election* on Aug 2, once he doesn’t get a response.

      (* even though I claim that under the KY constitution, he doesn’t have to and could just unilaterally appoint a replacement instead)
